Our aim in this figurative drawing workshop is to understand how the movement of the body affects the pose and to practice seeing, understanding, and rendering human form more expressively. With a live model, participants explore the movement and motion of the body in order to develop their conceptual and observational understanding of form, structure, and morphology. Which muscles do you need to be aware of in order to render dynamic movement? How is the body rotating, extending, and flexing and how does this translate into better and more life-like Drawings?
